Hannu Raudasoja from ALMA has been awarded First Class Medal of the White Rose of Finland with golden cross

Hannu Raudasoja has worked for Vitec ALMA Oy for more than three decades. Hannu’s praiseworthy career encouraged ALMA to apply for the award of the Medal of the White Rose of Finland to him.

Hannu Raudasoja’s career at ALMA began in 1987. At the time, we supplied to Kemira, our company's first customer, a Macintosh-based factory network, where each change was updated to all users in real time.

The idea to apply for the award of the honorary medal to the long-term employee came from Toni Penttilä, Raudasoja’s superior.

“Hannu’s more than three-decade career with us is beyond compare. He continues to play a key role in the product development of our lifecycle asset management system widely used in Finnish industry. His long-term career with, and commitment to, the same employer is admirable.”

“Hannu has also developed himself over the years as technological progress moves on. In addition, he holds two Master of Science (Tech.) degrees. One in mechanical engineering and the other in information technology,” Penttilä says.

In his work community, Raudasoja, Product Development Manager, is a respected and appreciated colleague who always acts in an exemplary and helpful manner. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of the Provincial Choir of Central Ostrobothnia for 10 years.

Hannu Raudasoja was awarded First Class Medal of the White Rose of Finland with golden cross on Independence Day 2020 by Sauli Niinistö, the President of Finland and the Grand Master of the Order of the White Rose of Finland and of the Order of the Lion of Finland.
