Flowplus Oy became an ALMA customer a few years ago, and the company intends to expand the use of ALMA further. The expansion concerns, for example, management of IoT data and improvement of the efficiency of operation processes.
Originally, Flowplus acquired ALMA as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in 2017. According to Jari Tulinimi, Business Manager, management of IoT data, among others, in the system is a logical next step.
“With its help, for example, we can monitor the status of a pump managed by us in real time. The data acquired from the pump are stored in ALMA and can easily be retrieved from there and analysed location-independently,” he says.
This way, with the help of ALMA, the customers of Flowplus Oy can rely on that their devices are serviced and repaired quickly and the maintenance history is up-to-date. This facilitates the device’s life cycle management.
Flowplus also intends to utilise ALMA more extensively in the control and streamlining of its own production processes.
