Modular approach for flexibility

ALMA® is a comprehensive production line engineering and knowledge management system to be used stand-alone or integrated with a plant’s other systems, those are typically Distributed Control System DCS, Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS, Enterprice Asset Management EAM and Enterprise Resource Planning ERP. It is divided into various product modules that focus on field instrumentation, process electrification, maintenance, and web portals. ALMA® also has functions for DCS applications and system engineering, while documentation management is included in all product modules. ALMA® is also applicable as an information management tool for machinery and production personnel.

ALMA® is much more than just an information tank. It is a real-time multi-user system, available on 24/7 basis. This means that multiple users in different jobs and locations can simultaneously access and share the information in the network. ALMA® also provides data import from and export to external systems on regular basis or manual ocationally. It enables paperless electronic management of the entire technical documentation process.

A highly parameterized function of ALMA® supports supplierindependent system engineering tasks, by connecting DCS application and system engineering information to the automation supplier’s tools. This means that when field instrumentation engineering is carried out, the needs for system engineering are satisfied at the same time – by specifying standard alarm groups, execution cycles etc.
