We held a lightweight basic ALMA course in February. Pasi Pirttimäki, electric power and automationengineer from the Engineering agency SAV Ltd., took part in the course. We organized for him a tailored ALMA course using SAV Ltd.'s own ALMA client database.

Pasi Pirttimäki comes from Pori. His education is electric power- and automation engineer from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences.

"I have just moved to a new home in Wiikinäinen, Pori, with my partner in cohabitation. Building our home was a major undertaking, taking into consideration that i myself did all the HVAC and electrical work together with my father. Digging was the only work done by an external party", Pasi Pirttimäki explains.

Pirttimäki joined SAV Ltd. in january of 2011. He began working in the area of Harjavalta among large-scale industry. "I'm met with plenty of challenge in my new work dealing with environmental aspects conserning new equipment. This is something that needs to be taken into consideration when doing electrical planning", Pirttimäki explains.

SAV Ltd.'s client factory has been running ALMA. "ALMA has appeared to be easy to use and learning the ropes hasn't provided too many difficulties. A one day ALMA-course, where i was the sole attendee, provided a solid base to work on", Pirttimäki tells and continues: "Using ALMA has been quite nice and getting to grips with it has been relatively easy. The only difference to other software is the versatility of ALMA.
