SWECO Industry Oy’s Oulu office leased ALMA for customer project.

SWECO Industry Oy’s Oulu unit, received electrical and instrumentation engineering part of SWECO’s customer project. The project in question is an expansion of pharmaceutical company, so the engineering work has to be extremely precise. SWECO chose Elect- and FieldALMA as their project tool.

The project had begun before leasing of ALMA and the loop list was made with spreadsheets. Loop list was then imported into ALMA where connections and cabling where modelled. Cabling is more graphic on ALMA that on spreadsheets. Mistakes can be eliminated due to verification features in ALMA which directs designer to perfection. This saves money and time and the project progresses. Final document generated from ALMA will be presented to the client as complete loop lists and records. For the possible future project SWECO now holds complete data base with prepared solutions, blue prints and product registers.
