Organization of Finnish Mining Entrepreneurs held a seminar 2- 4.6.2010 at the city of Kokkola. ALMA was also taking part in order to familiarize with the industry and learn from the experts.
Also the brand new MineALMA for miners was presented at the event.
The seminar brought together all the major mining companies and experts that operate in Finland. The Kokkola City Hall was filled with almost 150 participants. Seminar program included a vast diversity of presentations from geological research to practical operation of the mine.
The presentations showed that confidence in the finnish soil remains strong.
Future in the mining sector look good, although the effects of the new mining law has not yet been fully understood.
Next Mining Seminar will be held in June 2011 at Koli. See you there!
