In Alma Consulting Oy, Engineer Pekka Mäyrä has been appointed to ALMA planning software product specialist as from 3.5.2010. He works mainly as the ALMA main user at the Ruukki`s Raahe factory.
Pekka has studied electric power technology in Ylivieska. He is one of the last ”old school” engineers who graduated before the Ylivieska unit started to use the term ”polytechnic”.
Mäyrä`s career details include 12 years of work as a planning engineer at the Ruukki`s Raahe factory. For the last two years he has worked as a Team Leader at Visetec Oy. Mäyrä has a wife and three children. The family lives in Oulainen. Of his hobbies Pekka mentions outdoor activities with his wife and children as well as domestic travelling: ”A caravan man is everyone`s friend”.
