7th Fennoscandian Exploration and Mining conference in Rovaniemi, Finland gathered more than 600 participants. Alma Marketing Oy was also present for the fist time.

From the mining point of view, the Fennoscandian Shield has been - and also will be - one of the most important business sectors. The Scandinavian mining, concentration and metallurgy represent the cutting edge in the world. Sweden, Finland and Northwestern Russia are just as potential mining areas as Canada, still earthing a large amount of metal and industrial mineral deposits.

The future of mining is literally ”underground”. According to the experts, we`ve only scratched the surface. Mining business is offering many high technology challenges and thus going deeper into earth`s crust.
