Niko Pahkala, M.Sc. in Technology, has been appointed as an Export Manager at ALMA Consulting as from 22.08.2011. He is responsible for exporting the ALMA product to international markets and development of sales and business.

Niko has graduated M.Sc. from the University of Oulu and in his studies he has specialised in Industrial engineering and management.

Before joining ALMA, Niko worked for Rautaruukki Corporation for around five years, most of that time as a Purchasing Manager and head of purchasing group responsible of purchasing of maintenance services and materials for Raahe steel works and several other Ruukki Metals sites. From his student years, Niko has experience in forest industry from working at board mill production as well as in various factory type of jobs from several summers.

Niko has a fiancée and they have a 3 month old son. Of his hobbies Niko names tennis and golf. "Also other fitness sports, when there is time", Niko adds.
