Neste Oil and Neste Jacobs will use ALMA® for automation engineering

Neste Oil Oyj and Neste Jacobs Oy have agreed with Alma Marketing Oy upon the use of ALMA® engineering and knowledge management system. The system will be taken in use as in-house tool as well as also by contractors and sub suppliers. The delivery of the system includes also the data transfer from the old system as well as commissioning and user training. The new generation system will be in use before end of this year.

”The ALMA® system is meeting our requirements by providing a flexible and versatile environment in engineering and process update both in new projects and maintenance of production plants” says Dr. Hans Aalto, Head of automation and electrical engineering at Neste Jacobs. He also states that before decision, systems by several suppliers were thoroughly tested and evaluated in their own working environment.

Dr. Kalervo Tervola, Managing Director of Alma Marketing Oy is regarding the agreement as an important achievement. "We were able to convince an experienced and demanding user in an international competition” he continues.
