10.11.2010 | SWECO enriches their ALMA knowledge

Automation engineer Mr Henri Määttä from SWECO Oulu's office took part at the ALMA Basic course held in november. Määttä's main reason to attend the course was to get ALMA knowledge for the future projects. SWECO-logo

Henri Määttä graduated from Oulu university of applied sciences school of engineering in 2007. After graduation Määttä worked at SWECO in southern Finland but during this fall he moved back to Oulu.

"To learn to use software that I need in my future work tasks", Henri Määttä says when we asked his reason to come to the ALMA basic course. He wasn't familiar with ALMA before so during the course a lot of new information was given. "Now I understand the main principles of ALMA and my skills will surely improve when I start using ALMA at daily basis", Määttä says. From now on Määttä will be a part of SWECO's ALMA user group where he can exchange knowledge with the other users. During the course Määttä also learned some new tricks he can share with the other automation experts.

"Määttä was a very fast learner. For the future projects for example, we made import-lists which are useful when information needs to be transferred into ALMA", course organizer Ms Annika Kurvinen mentions.
